Founder
Ellen Søhoel, a distinguished entrepreneur hailing from Norway, has been an influential voice in the realms of interior design, architecture, and real estate development. In 2015, she founded XBD Collective, a renowned design firm with offices in Dubai, London, and Kochi, celebrated for its avant-garde and contemporary designs. Her impressive portfolio encompasses projects in hospitality, residential, and commercial sectors, collaborating with prestigious entities such as Emaar, DAMAC, and luxury hotel brands. Søhoel’s astute business acumen and unwavering focus on client satisfaction have solidified XBD Collective’s reputation as a paragon of excellence. Beyond her prowess in design, she has ventured into the thriving real estate market of Dubai, revitalising neglected properties into highly sought-after destinations. Managing Partner and Design Director
As Managing Partner, Marc Roca Bravo brings nearly 15 years of rich industry experience gained across Europe, South America, and the Middle East to the firm. In 2021, he embarked on his journey with XBD, entrusted with the leadership of architectural and interior design services catering to the hospitality, education, commercial, and multi-residential sectors.
At the core of Roca Bravo’s professional ethos lies a deep passion for creativity and meticulous design. His hands-on approach and ability to guide projects from concept to construction have been pivotal in forging robust relationships with clients, project teams, and industry peers, all while building an impressive projects portfolio.
Among Roca Bravo’s notable achievements is the ‘St. Regis Residences, Financial Centre Road,’ a highly acclaimed residential development nestled in the heart of Downtown Dubai. His expertise extends to international projects like the ‘Metropolitan Towers’ in Lagos, Nigeria, and the Modern Working Business Centre at the Opus Tower in Business Bay, Dubai—testaments to his diverse design capabilities.
Roca Bravo holds a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain. His work in the Middle East has exposed him to the dynamic demands of a market where contemporary architecture and cutting-edge technology converge seamlessly.
